Setting
Granblue Fantasy unfolds across a breathtakingly expansive and wondrous realm known as the Sky Archipelago. Plot
The narrative commences with the player character, known interchangeably as Gran (male) or Djeeta (female), who assumes the role of the Captain of their own sky-faring crew. By their side is their constant, winged companion, Vyrn. Their journey takes an immediate and dramatic turn when they rescue Lyria, a young girl possessing a mysterious and powerful ability to communicate with and control primal beasts. Lyria was being pursued and held captive by the formidable and relentless Erste Empire. Following this rescue, the Captain, Lyria, and Vyrn set out on an epic quest. Their journey is one of discovery, seeking to unravel the profound secrets of their world, forge new alliances with a colorful cast of characters, and confront the myriad of adversaries that stand in their way. All the while, they must remain vigilant, constantly evading the relentless pursuit of the Erste Empire, who are determined to recapture Lyria and her powers.
