Plot Overview
Made in Abyss chronicles the extraordinary journey of Riko, an spirited orphaned girl whose deepest aspiration is to follow in the footsteps of her mother, a legendary Delver who famously vanished into the enigmatic Abyss. The Abyss itself is a colossal, ancient, and perilous chasm that plunges deep into the earth, teeming with mysterious relics, exotic creatures, and unfathomable dangers. During her initial explorations at the edge of this great chasm, Riko encounters Reg, a curious robot boy who has lost all memory of his origins.
