Plot Overview
Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! follows the story of Yūta Togashi, a high school student desperately trying to leave behind his embarrassing past. During his middle school years, Yūta suffered from “chūnibyō” – a condition where individuals, typically adolescents, develop elaborate delusions of grandeur, believing they possess supernatural powers or are involved in fantastical conflicts. Now in high school, he aims for a clean slate, avoiding any reminders of his former self. However, his plans for a normal high school life are disrupted by Rikka Takanashi, a lively and eccentric classmate who still fully immerses herself in her chūnibyō delusions. Rikka, who refers to herself as the “Wicked Eye” and believes she wields immense mystical power, becomes a constant presence in Yūta’s life.
