Setting
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set in Japan during the early 20th century, specifically the Taishō era. The world is populated by demons, formerly humans who have gained supernatural abilities, and who haunt the land. These demons possess formidable strength and unique powers, making them incredibly dangerous adversaries. They can only be defeated through exposure to sunlight, decapitation with specialized Nichirin alloy swords, or by using poison derived from wisteria flowers.
Plot
The narrative follows Tanjiro Kamado, a compassionate young boy who sells charcoal to provide for his family. His life is irrevocably shattered when a demon brutally slaughters his family, leaving his younger sister, Nezuko, as the sole survivor, though she has been transformed into a demon herself. Driven by a dual purpose—to avenge his family and discover a cure for Nezuko—Tanjiro enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps, a clandestine organization dedicated to combating demons.
As Tanjiro undergoes training to become a demon slayer, he masters various elemental breathing techniques that augment his combat prowess. Main Characters
